Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans, Inc. is a local office of Junior Achievement USA (JA), the world’s largest and fastest-growing non-profit economic education organization. Junior Achievement empowers young people to own their economic success. Our volunteer-delivered, K-12 programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire kids to dream big and reach their potential.
Junior Achievement USA impacts 4 million U.S. students in more than 173,000 classrooms. With the help of 171,000 volunteers, JA students develop the skills they need to experience the realities and opportunities of work and entrepreneurship in the 21st-century global marketplace.
Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans, Inc. impacts more than 22,400 students annually in 12 parishes in Southeast Louisiana in classrooms, afterschool programs and summer enrichment camps with the help of more than 1,000 volunteers.
