Big changes coming up April 21st
point2point Design has been busy getting ready for the April 21st deadline when the Web is going to change(for the better).
What, you don’t know what’s happening April 21st?
Most algorithm updates come with vague or no warning, but Google recently announced,
“Starting April 21, we will be expanding our use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal. This change will affect mobile searches in all languages worldwide and will have a significant impact in our search results.”

The good news is it’s fairly easy to add a mobile version to a existing WordPress web site but if you haven’t redesigned in the last 5 years, it’s probably best to redesign the entire site using a responsive theme which is mobile friendly.
This update is kind of a big for New Orleans based customers since I’ve always felt we have a higher number of mobile users then most cities. Call us today if you are unsure if your Web site is mobile friendly. Don’t miss out on new customers because Google is penalizing you for not being mobile!
