Early bird gets the WordPress

This morning your hero woke up at 5:00am and drove an hour to attend a Ascension Chamber of Commerce Smart Start bushiness and breakfast. Now if you’ve met me before you know I”m more of a “business and brunch” or “after hours” business card exchanges so you can understand the sheer will it took to accomplish this.

The event was definitively worth it, lots of folks, good and a great venue (Total Care Injury & Pain Center).

Afterwards I met with the Chamber about upgrading their Web site to a WordPress platform which I’m super excited about. My goal for 2013 is to increase my Chamber membership to 8 which is completely do-able. Chambers are crucial in getting business owners together and getting things done. Doesn’t matter what Parish,

I also wanted to post about a race benefiting The St Elizabeth Hospital on April 13th. 1 mile run/walk and 5k race. Great race benefiting a great cause.  The Blue Run by CAS.

It’s going to be a caffiened day tho. There  is a Jefferson Chamber event tonight, the JCEL Young Professional Networking Social and even though I’m 32 I still consider myself young at heart.
