How To Transfer Your Domain From GoDaddy

Lots of people have already registered a domain name with Godaddy and need assistance transferring it to point2point. Here is a step by step walk through on how to get it taken care of.

Please note: When you transfer a domain name you add a additional year of registration to the existing registration. You are basically paying for a year in advance. For example, if your domain was registered on the 6th of June 2011 and you transferred it on the 9th of June 2011, it would then be registered till June 9th 2012.

Step 1, login to your godaddy account at http://www.godaddy.com
