IMAP Vs POP

This is a tough one for me to write but i’m going to give it my best shot. There are 2 ways to connect to a mail server, Internet message access protocol(IMAP) or Post office protocol(POP). They work exactly the same except that POP downloads the e-mail by default and IMAP leaves a copy on the server by default. This is extremely important  when you have a iPhone that is receiving the message at the same time as Outlook on your computer.

I have instructions for both IMAP and POP but i highly recommend using IMAP since almost every person on the planet now gets e-mail in more then 1 place.
